On Saturday Pippa Middleton married her new husband, James Matthews in a fabulous church ceremony followed by a lavish reception in a marquee in the grounds of the Middleton’s home.

We have decided to put together our tips for recreating Pippa Middleton’s reception for a fraction of the price from some of brilliant exhibitors at The Liverpool and North West Wedding Show, so if you fancy a wedding reception with a royal touch you have to read this!

Pippa wore a maidenhair fern tiara and matching headpiece, crafted with diamonds and 18-karat white gold designed by Robinson Pelham who incidentally designed the Duchess of Cambridge’s oak and acorn drop earrings for hwer own 2011 nuptials. If you are looking for something less bespoke, Bridal Path, as well as stocking a range of fabulous designers including Maggie Sottero, Justin Alexander and Demitrios, carry a full range of headpieces. We love the Memphis tiara, it definitely has a similar feel to it to the Robinson Pelham piece.
Bridal Path’s gorgeous head wear is from Ivory and Co and offers lots of choice and something for everyone. They have a amazing choice of headpieces from traditional tiaras and side pieces to comb slides and bespoke pieces. Heavily encrusted or simple pearl bands we will be there to advice and compliment your gown.
