If music be the food of love, then what music to choose for my wedding day?!

Lilly Allen’s at Number One in the charts this week with her cover of Keane’s ‘Somewhere Only We Know’, as we’re sure you’ve all heard on John Lewis’s adorable Christmas advert this year.

As a Bride-to-be, it’s got me thinking about what music to have at our big day, I didn’t realise how hard it was going to be to decide! What to walk down and back up the aisle to, what to pick for our first dance, the background wedding breakfast music, the choice of evening entertainment, what to put on the playlist to get everyone up and partying…and I thought working out the guest list was a toughie!

If you’re finding yourself in the same boat and need some musical ideas and inspiration for your big day then Palm Sugar’s Live Lounge at The Liverpool Wedding Show is a great place to start. Come along, grab a cocktail and be entertained by a great variety of Wedding acts performing live, right in front of you!  Taking the stage this year we have an exciting line up including Andrew Coleman performing hits from Pop to Swing, fun party band The Funtime Frankies, cool and contemporary jazz singer Beck Brooks, the 5-piece Freak Out Disco Band and popular covers band Soul-Revolver.

You can also speak to the acts on the day about your thoughts for your musical choices, certain songs that mean something to you and they’ll be on hand to help and advise on how they can set the scene and get everyone up and partying.
